Trust and Honor in Education

Trust and Honor in Education

I've been thinking about the relationship between trust and honor in education and learning environments.

Students trust teachers who honor them. Students do not trust teachers who do not honor them.

Parents trust teachers who honor them (and their children). Parents do not trust teachers who do not honor them (and their children).

Teachers trust parents who honor them. Teachers do not trust parents who do not honor them.

A successful education system, model, or institution will be one where students, teachers, and parents both trust and honor each other. We could also add value and respect. Value each other. Respect each other.

Do we have this?
